BEIJING GAMES: Slovenia Leads en In Medal per Capita=

Beijing, 18 August (STA) - Slovenia may be far away from competing with China and the US in the overall medal count at the Beijing Olympics, but four medals won through Sunday have placed it at the top of the medals per capita competition, with one medal per every 501,927 Slovenians.

Slovenia has won a noticeable array of medals so far - one judo (Lucija Polavder), one swimming (Sara Isakovic), one shooting (Rajmond Debevec) and one field (Primoz Kozmus), wrote the online edition of the Los Angeles Times, which keeps a tab on the per capita medal tally.

The gold medal won on Sunday by hammer thrower Kozmus dethroned from the top the Armenians, who have managed to get five medals out of 2,968,586 people in predominantly power sports - weightlifting (three medals) and wrestling (two)
